We are excited to share the Computer Science Summer Research Project 2024 at CSUF, an incredible opportunity for community college students to immerse themselves. This 7-week summer internship program will run from May 24- July 11 and you are invited to participate.

During the CS Summer Research Project, you will have the chance to choose between two topics: Data Science and Pairs Trading. These projects will provide you with practical insights into real-world applications of computer science concepts. Lectures will be conducted on Zoom, allowing you to engage with the material remotely. You will also have the flexibility to work remotely for the majority of the time, with the requirement to come to campus at least 20% of the time.

To kick off this journey, we will be hosting a Welcome Zoom session on Friday, May 24th, from 9:00 to 10:30 am.. This session will provide you with an overview of the program and address any questions you may have.

If you are selected to participate in the CS Summer Research Project, you can earn a stipend of $1,309 over the duration of the program or be a volunteer. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the projects without monetary compensation, allowing you to focus solely on gaining valuable experience.

We understand that every student has different circumstances, and we want to support your individual needs. Regardless of your chosen modality, whether you prefer to be 100% online or come in person, you are welcome to participate in the CS Summer Research Project.
